Career: Primero de Agosto (Angola, 2000-04), Benfica Lisbone (Portugal-LCB, 2004-06), Primero de Agosto (Angola, 2006)

Born and raised in Chad, Abdel Aziz Boukar stands just 2.04m in height but is a very physical center. Boukar, hopeful of playing professional basketball, moved to the Republic of Central Africa and then to Angola. He jumped at the opportunity to become an Angolan citizen in 2001 and that led to his eventual call-up for the National Team. After a couple of years in Portugal with Benfica Lisboa, Boukar returned to Angola this season and played with Primero de Agosto. Abdel Aziz had two good years with Benfica but he had to go back to Angola for personal reasons in December 2005. Boukar was one of the top centers during the 2005 FIBA Africa Championship in Algiers but knee problems prevented him from playing in recent international tournaments.
