Career: Zob Ahan (Iran-Superleague, 2000-2006), Sanam (Iran-Superleague, 2006-07),
BEEM (Iran-Superleague, 2007-08)

A former co-captain of the national team, Iman Zandi was unfortunate to not partake in the qualifications for the Olympics as a result of a broken leg. Fortunately for him his team took home the gold in the Asian Championships thus setting the stage for his return to the court. Zandi is a pure two guard with a scorer’s mentality. He is a good perimeter shooter and one of Iran’s scoring threats. On any given night he can hurt you from beyond the arc and in a way models his game after team USA’s Mike Miller.
